Carmengloria Davis believes that non-profit work is the work that really matters in people’s daily lives. For that reason she joined the Pediatric Oncology Support Team (POST), as their Case Manager, helping families get through the financial impact of a cancer journey.

Carmengloria’s inspiration for helping others comes from the example her parents set, serving many years in the food service industry. She: has a M.S. Degree in Family, Youth, and Community Services from the University of Florida; has published a thesis, and has been published in a journal.

A native Floridian, Carmengloria grew up in Hollywood and was very involved in musical theatre. Today, she can be heard singing tunes in the office. When she’s not in the office, Carmengloria enjoys spending time with her dog, Penny, at the dog park, coloring with her 4-year old cousin, spending time with family, and having meals with them. She says nothing beats her aunt Julia’s authentic Mexican enchiladas.

If she could characterize herself in any way, her spirit animal would be Donkey from the movie Shrek, “because he is an awesome sidekick.”
