Terrie Johnson has long felt that working for POST is the perfect work for her. Having a natural inclination to care for children, and an interest in things medically related, POST’s mission to the community marries the two. As the Program Coordinator, she puts together all the pieces that make up POST, and makes sure every family and child gets the help they need. She has done this whole-heartedly since the beginning of POST.
Before landing at POST, Terrie worked a year at a non-profit organization geared towards single-moms. She found non-profit work personally rewarding, and couldn’t see herself doing anything other than helping people. Terrie also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
Originally from the United Kingdom, Terrie has been in Florida for over 20 years. When she’s not working, she enjoys solitude, reading, and watching Downton Abbey, her favorite TV show. Terrie especially loves spending time with her children and family. Her favorite foods include curries: Indian food and Thai food.
When asked who her spirit animal/character is, Terrie replied with, “Harry Potter…I would love to be a wizard attending Hogwarts and flying on dragons.”
